BUDDY BOATING was created by business owners that have been a part of the boating industry for over 35 years. Through years of experience they saw that many people wanted to experience boating without the obligation of owning a boat. Boat clubs provides recreation that the whole family can enjoy and they wanted everybody to have the opportunity to experience the fun that boating has to offer.
BUDDY BOATING was born from the idea of providing hassle-free boating, product variety, and “vacation” type scheduling. After careful consideration and extensive research on the boat buying market, some common themes kept surfacing: people wanted access to boating but were often cautious of owning a boat for certain reasons. The list of costs that go along with ownership such as storage, maintenance and depreciation in value can be daunting. The commitment of purchasing one model type and motor can be intimidating. Finally, if an individual lives in a state where there is a limited window for the boating season, the obligation to use this “big ticket” item can be stressful. The answer to all these concerns is a boat club, Buddy Boating to be exact!
We’re locally owned and family operated, we’re not a large national boat club with hundreds of locations and boats. Every member that joins Buddy Boating gets one on one training and support, so you can make the most of your days on the water. We strive to make boating obtainable as an additional activity for an individual or family, instead of the only activity.
